We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our small dynamic team in a family owned 9 table restaurant.
Hours are Wednesday-Sunday or Wednesday-Saturday 12-8.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Duties
Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Clover POS system.
Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for guest checks.
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Kitchen help as needed during slow times.
Requirements
Proven experience in a server role
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Familiarity with Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and guest checks accurately.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Basic Knife skills is a must to help the kitchen during slow hours.
