Looking for experienced self-motivated people to join our little upscale seasonal restaurant located in Tropic, UT. Located 15 minutes outside of Bryce Canyon National Park.
We are a smaller restaurant with a total staff of around 15 people and serve anywhere for 60-90 people a night. Our restaurant has a pretty relaxed and positive atmosphere with friendly staff that are fun and all get along really well. We actually pride ourselves on how close we all are. It’s very tight quarters in the restaurant, especially the kitchen, and can be really fast-paced depending on the time of the year. So, getting along with everyone is definitely a must. We are a scratch kitchen and being the size that we are, creativity is highly encouraged. Feel free to bring up anything you think might be good to make as our daily employee meal or even as a daily special. We make an employee meal for all the staff every day roughly an hour before we open.
Positions we need filled are sauté cook, grill cook and pantry cook. But we all cross-train in such a small environment. Looking for full-time staff to fill few positions and to work 40 hours a week with overtime opportunity during busier times of the season. Our wages are $16-19 depending on experience and we offer low-cost on-site housing. Housing is a flat $200 a month and that includes a personal bedroom, shared bathroom, utilities and internet. It’s a perfect opportunity to come and save up all season. We are open about 8 months out of the year. Opening mid-March and close the end of October.
