Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. this position is with tip avg of $100 per day.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering questions
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Upsell products and promote specials to customers
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure quality control standards are met
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a Barista
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and prioritize customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
