Job Summary:

Prepare food consistent with recipes, menus, and standards; and ensure proper handling of all food-in-process items and the proper presentation of all prepared items. Ordering food and supplies, able to handle banquets to 300 guests.

Qualifications:

1. Five years or more of cooking, Experience in Banquets, prep-cook, fry-cook, egg-cook, and broiler-cook.

2. Must be dependable to work when scheduled and to function productively.

Essential Functions:

1. Ensures that food is cooked and properly presented using the standard product and recipe.

2. Ensure the quality, quantity, and eye-appealing presentation of all menu items.

3. Ensure the proper storage and handling of all food products, and promote safe and sanitary food handling.

4. Maintain the work area and kitchen equipment clean and orderly.

5. Preparing banquets up to 300 guests.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work standing for eight hours, and must have the endurance to function in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

Must be able to lift 35 lbs
