Locally owned and operated, The Standard Tavern restaurant is looking for a reliable and knowledgeable cook for a part-time opening
available totaling an approximately 30-hour work week.
The starting pay is $16-$19 per hour depending on experience, plus weekly cash tips. We get paid weekly on Fridays. That sounds like what you could use right now?
I can't stress enough that those who are not dependable or are otherwise unreliable, please don't bother applying. This is a laid-back atmosphere, a low-stress workload, with a small core of friendly employees who would welcome an honest and qualified addition to our team, but the last thing we want is to be covering your shift because of something trivia, so ability and reliability are top priorities.
Our menu is not complex and is typical of local bar dining. Pizza-making experience (hand-tossed) is a plus, but not necessary. If you are chosen for an interview, be prepared to demonstrate your cooking ability, although I may or may not make this request.

Lastly, the qualified candidate must be able to function independently while still maintaining a team player attitude. You need a VALID Food Handler's Card, License or ID, and social security card for employment. Oh, finally you must be able to lift 35-60 lbs regularly, so please be aware of this.
