Surveillance Specialist

General Summary Of Duties:Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:Always monitors all areas of the property, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity for proper resolutionEnsure quality observations and investigations in the Surveillance Department on assigned shiftMaintains a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property.Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floorAssists with directing the flow of Surveillance Reports to the proper individuals per Surveillance Management, always maintaining the highest level of confidentialityAbility to work as a team.Maintains world class service levels in the Surveillance Department.Create daily activity reports and prepares necessary reports for management.Coordinates, with the Surveillance Management, when Surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention as appropriate.Observes, documents, video coverage and reports any unusual or suspicious activities on property.Regularly inspects the premises, identifying potential safety or security hazards, and reporting same to Surveillance Management, for proper resolution.Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.Conduct daily player evaluations and rating auditsIdentify, document, and find solutions for operational improvement opportunitiesMonitors and analyzes daily gaming activityHas experience with operational case studiesHas knowledge of house advantage as it pertains to player reinvestmentThe above statements represent a general outline of principal job functions and should not be construed as a complete description of all aspects and requirements inherent in this job.
