- Experienced managing, growing and developing database engineering/administration teams and operations or a history of consulting projects in a team lead capacity.
- Proficient with Database Engineering experience with administering and supporting multiple databases for performance critical, highly available systems
- Experience SQL and DB performance tuning skills.
- Experience running massive scale systems in AWS RDS or similar.
- Track record of engineering performance and availability solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Database engineer/administrator with experience managing massive high transaction, Tier 1 database systems.
- Expert hands on experience with several database engines, including MySQL, MariaDB, or Aurora MySQL.
- You have hands on experience running or supporting customers that have large database systems.
- Software development experience is a huge plus.
