Our client is an American global hospitality and entertainment company. They are urgently looking for Senior QA Engineers for Test Automation (with Java) & Database/ ETL Testig. This position is 100% remote. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a developer or Software QA Engineer
- 3+ years expertise in different testing methodologies, test processes, and working with standard QA and development tools
- Familiarity with Test Rails and/or X-Ray
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, an provide timely feedback
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prioritize and plan testing activities
- Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase
- of the development process
- Have a significant impact in the quality and delivery speed of our software, our business,
- and most importantly our customers.
- Previous experience in eCommerce, SaaS, and consumer facing products
- Familiarity with Gherkin Language
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Cypress, JS, Jest, mocha, cucumber.js
- Experience validating consumer user interfaces
- Experience working as embedded QA exercising AGILE methodologies
- Experience working closely with development and product teams
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
