Description Overview:Our client is looking for a Network Infrastructure Support Specialist to join their data center team. The role emphasizes terminal access tools like PuTTY, structured cabling, and data center physical management, while also requiring strong communication and customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:
Use PuTTY and terminal tools for network device configuration and troubleshooting.
Manage and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber optics), ensuring proper installation and labeling.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues; assist with equipment setup and cabling.
Document network changes and adhere to safety protocols.
Collaborate effectively with team members and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
Deliver excellent customer service when addressing issues or coordinating with other departments.
Requirements
Requirements:
Experience in a data center with proficiency in terminal access (e.g., PuTTY).
Understanding of cabling standards and network hardware (switches, routers).
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
Familiarity with monitoring tools and data center infrastructure.
