The Fire Command Operator & Maintenance Dispatcher is responsible for receiving and relaying information, instructions and work orders to Facilities team personnel under standard and emergency conditions.  The FCOMD will receive, record, and report on information regarding work performed, work in progress and requests for assistance.  The position responds to all inbound communication in the Fire Command Center, serving as a primary point of contact for all facilities and safety issues.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: maintaining processes, scheduling work, supporting department team members, maintaining all Wynn Las Vegas standards, and ensuring excellent guest and team member experience.The Fire Command Operator & Maintenance Dispatcher is responsible for a complete understanding of the Fire Life Safety EST3 Board and all its components.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job responsibility proficiently.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for monitoring emergency alarm systems including but not limited to EST3 Fire Alarm Panel, Cheetah & Det-tronic Suppression Systems.Knowledge and understanding of a Fire Command Center.Must be familiar with the operation of a fire life safety system and all of its components including but not limited to: disable/override switches, A/V select switches, pre-recorded message alerts, normal/abnormal LED’s, identifying audio zones, paging system, fire phone, P.A.S. switches, identifying ALARMS, Supervisories/Ducts, O2 sensors LED’s, Fireworks panel, and Smoke Management Annunciator Panels. Previous alarm monitoring and/or emergency dispatch experience desired.Must be able to complete and maintain Dispatch course as a condition of employment following initial hiring.Responsible for receiving and dispatching calls by telephone, two-way radio and other computer aided devices.Responsible for logging all information regarding the disposition of the call into HotSOS, logbooks, etc.Notifies fire department, internal departments, governing agencies and/or utilities of emergencies involving their areas of responsibility.Maintains memoranda, records and files, including division activity records, labor logs, work orders, inventories, monthly activity reports and necessary FCC records.Work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards.Maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
