Handle high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation. Ensure claims are adjudicated within service expectations and industry best practices. Identify subrogation opportunities and negotiate settlements.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Investigate and process complex claims.
Develop action plans for timely resolution.
Negotiate settlements within authority.
Calculate and manage reserves.
Approve and make timely claim payments.
Prepare state filings within statutory limits.
Manage litigation for cost-effective resolution.
Coordinate vendor referrals for investigation or litigation.
Utilize cost containment techniques.
Manage claim recoveries, including subrogation and offsets.
Report claims to excess carriers and respond professionally.
Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
Ensure proper documentation and claims coding.
Refer cases to supervisors and management.
Travel as required.
Qualifications:Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred.Experience: Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.NV resident and adjuster licenseSkills & Knowledge:
