Works as part of a team to design, build, deploy, support, and train on our BI solutions platform. Supports creation of ad-hoc queries using Transact SQL (T-SQL) and the creation of report solutions using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and OLAP cubes.Essential Functions:
Create ad-hoc data queries using T-SQL against Golden Corp Data Warehouse
Assist with implementation/review of data quality improvement processes and initiatives
Develops enhancements to the data warehouse.
Provide support and expertise to business partners to assist with increased utilization of BI tools
Assist the Business Intelligence team in understanding data requirements from source systems for inclusion into the Business Intelligence platform
Maintain alerts to ensure all daily jobs execute properly, provide corrective actions if needed to ensure successful execution
Collaborate with business users and subject matter experts to establish a vision for providing BI solutions
Develop milestones and timelines while managing small-to-mid scale projects
Participate in the evaluation of new BI tools for incorporation into the BI toolset
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent SQL work experience preferred
Previous experience working with MS-SQL required
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development while prioritizing commitments and managing time effectively
Ability to write intermediate/advanced queries using T-SQL required
Prior experience working with and/or in gaming industry preferred
Previous experience using the following preferred: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MSVS, and Excel Pivots
Requires a balance of technical knowledge, problem solving, report development, and communication skills
Must possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Must be detail oriented, have the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment, regularly meet/exceed service level agreement requirements, and provide excellent internal customer service
Previous experience/exposure with the following source systems preferred: Bally’s CMS, LMS, Synkros, Aristocrat Oasis, InfoGenesis, MGT, Mariposa, or Unica
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Must be at least 21 years of age
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
