Description Job Description:We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team at Robert Half. The ideal candidate will have experience with cash applications/ posting, specifically within a business-to-business (B2B) environment. Though it is not required, applicants with prior experience in the gaming supplier industry would be given high consideration.Responsibilities:
Handle the day-to-day tasks of accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are appropriately tracked and paid.
Carry out cash applications/posting operations by consistently posting customer payments and adjustments.
Analyze receivables data and prepare reports for management review.
Establish a cooperative rapport with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
Coordinate with the sales, customer service, and accounting teams to handle billing issues and customer inquiries.
Help in the monthly close process, audit procedures, and periodic financial reporting.
Uphold company policy and compliance requirements with regard to financial transactions and record-keeping.
Requirements
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent practical experience is required.
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
Strong understanding of cash application and posting procedures in a B2B environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with MS Dynamics ERP accounting software.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
High organizational and time-management skills; the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
