Ambit Consulting has an immediate opening for a Survey Office Technician in a remote position working from home.
We are a Multi-State land surveying company that works specifically for telecommunications companies.

Ideal Requirements:
Proficiency in Civil 3D 2019 or newer. We are running 2021.
Previous experience drafting to include ALTA, As-Built and Topographic Surveys
Use of Civil 3D for Contours and spot elevations
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow and understand project scopes of work
Ability to adapt to requirements of different State jurisdictions and statutes
Ability to read and interpret Plats, Record of Surveys, Engineering plans and Deed Descriptions
Demonstrated ability to work with co-workers and managers in office environment or remotely
Strong communication skills
Previous telecommunication field work or drafting a plus
Mathematical background of Geometry and Trigonometry is a plus
Future ability to prepare record of survey maps in the State of California and Idaho with training
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Creates AutoCAD drawings for Land Survey projects
Prepare legal descriptions and survey plats
Prepare exhibit maps
Boundary analysis
Creates and modifies maps for special assignments
Completes drawing revisions as necessary
Perform some property/boundary research with help
Performs other related duties, as assigned
Disseminate title reports
Prepares tower detail drawings
Prepare 1A certifications
