Dispatcher/Customer Service Rep for Towing Company
Business has increased with our company, and we are looking for a candidate who is dependable, organized, and with dispatching experience!
As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for answering multiple lines for phone calls, assisting customers on the phone and in person, processing vehicle impounds and releasing vehicles, processing and posting payments via cash, credit card, and or check, assign tow services to our driver’s, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. You are the first point of contact for our company and will be expected to always provide exceptional customer service and many times under intense situations.
40+ hours weekly (8-10 hours shifts)
Exceptional Customer Service
Experience in the Tow Industry (1 year minimum)
Flexible schedule (shift may vary depending on business needs)
Be available to work swing & night shift’s
Dependable and a Team Player
Requirements:
1 to 2 years dispatching experience
type 40 to 45 wpm
Communication Skills: You will be listening and speaking to people via phone and in person, often in some state of distress. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary.
Ability to Multitask: Dispatchers often are assisting customers and drivers at the same time, tracking their movements and keeping tabs on what they need. There are multiple duties of the job as far as towing scheduling, vehicle impounds and vehicle releases, as well as other duties as assigned.
Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to prioritize and think quickly to resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00-$14.00 per hour (during training period/probationary period)
Experience:
Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
Dispatching: 1 year (Required)
