Job Overview:

we need to make clear that we are NOT looking for a Kitchen Manager. This position is for a General Manager.

we have received many Great Kitchen Manager resumes but unfortunately we do not have an opening for that position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of service, food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training

- Ensure efficient and smooth operations by coordinating with kitchen Chef staff, servers, and other team members

- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control procedures

- Oversee and communicates with Chef on food production to ensure consistency and adherence to quality standards

- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, following all food safety regulations

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

- Implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers

- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the dining experience

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a General Manager Role minimum 6 years' experience

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Knowledge of POS systems Toast for order processing and sales tracking

- Proficient in Microsoft applications like excel spreadsheets PowerPoint also QuickBooks knowledge a plus

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in inventory control procedures

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and staff members
