They are a member of the interdisciplinary care team and perform basic nursing skills as outlined on the competency checklist, assist with physical examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments within the scope of their skills and report any abnormal findings and/or observations to supervising RN.
QualificationsMinimum:
A student currently enrolled in a program of professional nursing who has completed a minimum of one clinical semester credits in nursing fundamental RN course and who is continuously progressing toward obtaining an ADN or BSN degree in nursing.
BLS-CPR = AHA-Basic Life Support -Nat'l
Completed skills checklist from respective nursing school that indicates successful documentation of nursing skills.as outlined by the Nevada State Board of Nursing Apprentice Scope of Practice.
