Coordinates and promotes all aspects of federal grant requirements and audits, national audits, grant reconciliation, Lawson Grant Management, and the Social Accountability process for Community Benefit.
Works in tandem with outreach programs and Finance for St. Rose Dominican Hospitals.
Performs financial analyses, operations reviews, grant monitoring and reconciliation, and all related quantitative and qualitative tasks for Community Health activities.
Acts as the liaison for the Community Benefit Programs Department with internal and external customers.
Tracks and reports grant management and non-profit tax status quarterly for each St. Rose Dominican Hospital, reporting to the Presidents, Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director, CommonSpirit Community Benefit, and the Director of Community Health.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or Health Care Administration
Minimum of three (3) years of business experience, preferably in a Healthcare or Business Consulting environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Advanced Degree preferred
Three (3) years of business experience, preferably in a Healthcare or Business Consulting environment
Required Licensure and Certifications:
None
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:
Knowledge of finance and accounting, with the ability to read budget and monthly reports
Detail-oriented, with the ability to see and understand the larger picture
Ability to work independently, interdependently, and as a team member
Strong skills in setting priorities and managing work within timeframes
Ability to exercise prudent judgment in difficult interpersonal interactions
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Google Workspace Applications and Excel
Lawson Grant Management experience is a plus or ability to learn quickly
Intermediate or above level of Microsoft Excel expertise
Strong customer service skills and ability to handle highly confidential information
Preferred Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:
Experience working in a healthcare and/or non-profit environment preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and various public assistance programs and community service agencies preferred
