Reviews and negotiates terms of vendor contracts and communicates with vendors to regarding day-to-day matters
Builds and maintains positive relationship with vendors, monitors vendor performance and works as a relationship manager for Ohio market vendors
Facilitates the necessary steps (aSSIST, due diligence, contracting, performance management, payments, etc.) to implement a new vendor in the Ohio market
Streamlines the implementation process, ensuring compliance with Humana policies and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for day-to-day market support to ensure appropriate market oversight, e.g., research invoice/contractual issues, and resolves discrepancies
Works with the market to influence department's strategy related to vendor relationships
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
Partners with market and corporate business owners to manage the onboarding, contract oversight, and performance monitoring activities for market level vendors
Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications
3+ years vendor management experience in a healthcare or insurance setting
Bachelor's degree OR 5+ years vendor management experience in a healthcare or insurance setting
2+ years Project Management experience
Vendor Performance Management measurement experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Certification of Procurement and/or Supply Chain
Certification with Six Sigma and/or the Project Management Institute
Knowledge of Medicaid
Progressive operational experience
Strong facilitation skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$69,800 - $96,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
