Title: Manual CNC Operator
Location: Sidney, NE
Hire Type: Direct Hire

Hours: Mon-Fri, 5am-3:30pm; Saturdays 8-10 hours (as needed)
Target Hourly Rate: $30-35.00
Job Summary: Basic machining and precision measuring techniques. This position requires proficiency in operating a manual mill or lathe, interpreting blueprints, and using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate machining.
Job Duties:
Operate and set up a manual mill or lathe to machine parts to precise specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and ID measuring devices
Accurately measure inside diameters (ID) using C-Mic, Stick Mic, or ID Mic
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in basic machining and manual mill or lathe operation
Proficiency in using micrometers, dial indicators, C-Mic, Stick Mic, or ID Mic
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail
Flexibility in shift and schedule
