Creekside Animal Hospital is a friendly, progressive mixed animal practice in Sidney, Nebraska. Since our inception our mission has been to provide exceptional client service and veterinary health care. We participate in continuing education, utilize technological advances in veterinary medicine and surgery, and most importantly, administer compassionate care to all animals entrusted to us. We operate in modern facilities and use the latest equipment including digital radiographs, ultrasonongraphy and operate an in-house lab.
We are currently seeking a veterinary technician, full or part-time, to join our practice. Work tasks include but are not limited to: taking client histories, obtaining vital information, assisting during exams, prepping for surgery, running anesthesia during surgery, conducting dental cleanings and venipuncture, and inserting and withdrawing IV catheters. You will mostly work with small animals although there will be some large animal work.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, works well in a team, and is able to multitask. An associates degree and the LVT credential are a huge plus but are not required.
