Job Description: " Works as an actuarial focused team member within information technology practice area " Supports client's products and product development " Participates in development lifecycle of technical solutions to support client's products and business operations " Builds thorough understanding of client's business, technology and process needs " Serves as a liaison between internal and external clients, operations, and IT teams " Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information " Validates system calculations and output using external software, primarily Excel " Presents problem analysis and recommended solutions in a creative and logical manner " Identifies opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels Requires 3-5 years of relevant Life and Annuity insurance experiences outlined below: " Experience in end-to-end business operations and systems for Life and Annuity (L&A) product lines " Experience working with varied Life and Annuity products, including Term Life, Whole Life, Interest-Sensitive Whole Life, Universal Life, Indexed Universal Life, Variable Life, Fixed Annuities, Indexed Annuities, Variable Annuities, Structured Settlements and Pension Risk Transfer " Experience in Excel, Access, and scripting " Strong understanding of insurance related processes and technologies " Strong analytical/problem solving skills " Strong oral, written, and presentation skills " Strong organizational and time management skills " Experience with multiple policy administration platforms " Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies " Experience with automated testing tools
