JOB TITLE: Steal Rolling Operator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB: Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) steel roll forming machines to produce metal studs and track. This role involves maintaining and monitoring the production process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of products in a timely manner.
TRAINING/SKILLS: Knowledge of technical drawings and specifications, basic math, and ability to use various hand tools. Possess good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Time management during manufacturing processes and maintaining safety procedures or protocols in an industrial setting.
MACHINES, TOOLS USED ON THE JOB: Computer and CNC programming software, forklift (heavy use) and forklift attachments, industrial strength scales, chop saws, sheer cutters, and hand tools for maintenance.
ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Manufacturing environment with noise and vibrations from machinery, working in a standing position for extended periods of time, work in varying temperatures, walking surfaces with cords, tools, and metal debris. Job site conditions are influenced by many other types of trades. Some dusty and dirty conditions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be detail oriented.
Material Management such as tracking of inventory, communications of lead times to clients and vendors, and implementation of quality standards and processes.
Full use of fingers and both hands are required for this manually dexterous position. Along with mental and muscular coordination simultaneously.
Maneuvering/storing/organization of oversized materials using forklift.
Catching and lifting 10-15LB metal studs consistently and productively.
Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Use of Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft software’s daily.
Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling 15lbs on a regular and consistent basis. Five to six hours per day
