My client is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to oversee the work of the apprentices on construction sites and those on telecom towers (Maintenance & electrical equipment). The journeyman will approve work being completed by apprentices and in some scenarios, show the apprentices how to complete the work.
This position requires flexibility for travel as you could be gone 1, 2 or 3 weeks out of the month. This position will only be covering Iowa.
Day-to-day: Travel up to 75% - sometimes 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off - 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off etc. They have 3 apprentices on-site and there needs to be a Journeyman/Master Electrician to oversee the work that is being performed. There will be some instances where the Master/Journeyman Electrician will come in and show you how the work is completed. Most of the work you are doing is civil construction and electrical construction, mostly working on telecom towers.
Requirements: Licensed Journeyman Electrician License for corresponding state, 2+ years of experience with some exposure to industrial work - Generator/Solar experience preferred
Pay $42-55 per hour, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k with 6% match, 2 weeks of PTO, 1 week of PSL and 9 PAID holidays!
