Title: General Contractor’s Assistant
Description:
The Owner is the General Contractor and the Supervisor. He has deep experience in several areas of construction. You will work directly under the owner’ supervision.
Project contracts are typically $200K+. New home construction. New barn construction. Commercial building renovation. Company is poised for growth.
This position is not the same, rigorous work week after week. This position offers a variety of assignments and opportunities to learn.
Required:
Reasonably skilled with a speed square, tape measure and circular saw
Willing to provide own hand tools
OK with outdoor work most of the year
Does not have a major problem with heights
Dependable
Self-motivated
Willing to learn
Transportation to/from work and a valid driver’s license
Ability to carry things up a ladder
Agree to a background check
Work as an independent contractor (1099). You receive your full wages and file your own taxes.

Experience hanging drywall
Experience handing siding
Experience roofing
Setting Windows/Doors
Pay: $20 - $30 / hour. Depending on experience.
