SUMMARY: The Slab Handler is responsible for pulling slab orders accurately and safely. This task will be performed using the overhead cranes.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM and Alternate Saturday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Pull slabs from the warehouse from the slab orders provided
2. Move slabs to loading areas by using overhead cranes
3. Load slabs on customer’s vehicle/truck
4. Ensure that product is well secured on vehicle/truck and takes all necessary safety measures
5. Unload slabs from containers using forklifts
6. Arrange slabs properly by forklift/crane in Slab Warehouse
7. Responsible for maintaining the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers
8. Performs additional duties as required and or requested.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. 2 years of warehouse experience
2. Forklift, crane and warehouse experience preferred
3. Ability to use Smart Phones/Tablets
4. Good communicate skills
5. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Education or equivalent required
Two (2) plus years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
