Job Description
Position Title: Mobile Field Mechanic
Location: Omaha, NE
Reporting to: Field Service Supervisor
Open to Relocation: No
On-Site/Hybrid/Remote: On-Site
Travel Required: 75%

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
Work on a wide array of equipment including: truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems
Manage own schedule and support customers with repairs
Utilize current technology to support everyday work functions
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment
Able to pass MVR
2+ years of Field Service experience
Must be located within 60 miles of Omaha, NE
Ability to obtain a DOT qualification
Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
5+ years in a similar field
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Background in customer service
Experience with utility-type equipment
Fluid Power Society certification
Extensive knowledge of Terex Products: e.g Hi-Ranger, Telelect
JLG or Genie experience
Basic computer skills
Work Environment Considerations:
Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings as necessary and be on the road three to four nights per week.
Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.
Willing to work in different weather conditions
Tolerable to heights
Able to lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs
Salary: The compensation range for this position is $29.50-36 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
