We are a local, family owned company who specializes in relocating seniors. We have been in the industry for nearly 30 years. We are hiring 2-3 Move Managers Having experience in this role is strongly desired but we are certainly open and willing to train qualified candidates.
The position of a Move Manager comes with several duties:
- Consulting and planning with the customer (at their home) prior to any services. This is usually an added role once the Manager is experienced in all the other services (below)
- Organizing
- Downsizing
- Packing
- Sorting
- Scheduling movers
- Unpacking
- Set up
- And other services
The hours for this position are typically part-time but could be full-time, depending on work load and if one wants more hours. We can work around one's schedule to some degree as well. All work is performed on-site at customer's homes and/or apartments. A typical move is moving a senior from a home or an apartment to assisted living or a smaller apartment. A Move Manager would oversee this project and perform some of the services (listed above) necessary to facilitate the move, based on the customer's needs.
