Job Description:
As a Medication Aide, you will be primarily responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents and maintaining related medical records. This includes monitoring residents' reactions to medications, ensuring that the right medication is being given at the right time, and ensuring the resident's comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
Be friendly and help provide a great environment for the residents as well as the people you work with.
Administer and record medications as outlined in the patient's care plan.
Note and report changes in patients' conditions and reactions to medications to the nursing staff or leadership.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Assist patients with daily activities as needed.
Assist with non-medication related tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation of the healthcare facility.
Qualifications:
Friendly.
Dependable.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification as a Medication Aide is typically required. We can help with this training if needed though.
Standard Shifts Are:
Day = 7AM - 3PM
Evening = 3PM - 11PM
Overnight = 11PM - 7AM
