North 40 Chophouse, located in North Platte, NE is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team! We are a luxury steakhouse in downtown North Platte featuring dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, French culinary technique, curated and expansive wine list, and craft cocktails.
This position requires a desire to execute, grow, and maintain the pastry program at North 40 Chophouse. Our all from scratch kitchen is passionate in the production of fine cuisine for our restaurant.
Your pastry skills should be matched by your creativity in developing amazing new tastes and recipes. This individual must understand and appreciate the subtleties of flavor pairings and different tastes and have a good aesthetic sense for food and pastry presentation.
What you bring to the table:
-2+ years pastry experience in an upscale, full-service, high-volume restaurant.
-2+ years fine dining
-Displays flexibility, organization, and enjoyment of hospitality.
-Passion for fine dining, creativity, and new ideas.
-Strong communication skills.
-High standards of quality.

-Up to 3 weeks paid time off, increasing to 4 weeks after 2 years
