Chef Nick Strawhecker and his team are searching for talented people to join the opening team of Forno, a new wood-fired Italian concept. Opening in late April, Forno will offer seasonal, shareable food, Italian wine and cocktails in a casual, full-service environment.
Lunch, brunch and dinner shifts will be available, with weekend brunch starting in June. We are hiring for BOH and FOH positions:
Cooks - Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is a must, as is a good attitude and desire to learn. A stage shift may be required.
Dishwasher/Prep roles - Some kitchen experience preferred.
Servers & Bartenders - Full-service experience is strongly preferred, as is at least basic wine knowledge. A strong sense of teamwork is essential.
Hosts - Experience in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment is a must. Strong organization skills, poise under pressure and a good sense of empathy are important for successful candidates.
Runners - Some experience in a restaurant is preferred, but we will train candidates with good work ethic and positive attitudes.
