Charles Schwab's Retail Segmentation Strategy group is focused on developing differentiated client experiences for Retail clients based on client characteristics. This position involves a combination of execution and a cohesive client experience across client segments. This includes handling cross segment responsibilities, rationalizing experiences across segments, and identifying new opportunities to enhance segmented experiences. - Complete the retail segmentation project across workstreams
- Serve as the primary business point of contact on certain workstreams
- Ensure workstream breakthroughs are met and recommend resolutions to risks or blockers that may impact project delivery
- Ensure resolution of business-oriented risks and action items identified through workstream engagement
- Facilitate cross domain coordination to ensure we are supervising dependencies and results
- Facilitate cross project coordination within domains so that domains with similar requirements from multiple projects are carrying out together to create efficiencies
- Update and maintain documents related to project achievements, project plans, and readouts to partners and leaders in partnership with other workstream leads and project managers
- Maintain segmentation-related content for the field including IWIN pages, FAQs, etc.
- Maintain backlog of ideas for future enhancements to segmentation and facilitate leadership discussions regarding prioritization of enhancements
- Engage new groups not currently in scope to share the segmentation vision and collect feedback and ideas on new enhancements
- Supervise the competitive landscape to understand competitor approaches to segmentation
- Review key data trends across segments and provide perspective to retail leaders to drive decision making and prioritization
- Engage with key partners across retail to ensure future experience development is consistent with our segmentation strategy
- A total of 5+ years of experience with strong examples of having worked with diverse set of customers and influencing strategic decisions in complex environments; an ideal candidate has worked at least 3+ years in strategy/management consulting working on a diverse set of problems spanning from pure strategy to program delivery
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity-exploring new, yet untested concepts, ideas, programs and solving new problems that require working with a wide variety of partners to find solutions
- Superior analytical skills, research capabilities and attention to detail
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
- Strong and shown teaming skills, especially in cross-functional teams
- Comfort in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Advanced capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in financial services including experience with financial markets, products, technology is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree required (MBA a plus)
