Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Loan Processor - Support in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is in the Financial Services industry where you will be tasked with key responsibilities connected to the processing and management of loan applications. Responsibilities Analyze and verify loan applications for various programs, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the process. Efficiently handle a large pipeline of loans, prioritizing tasks to maintain productivity. Use Encompass software systems and other relevant software for mortgage loan origination. Closely coordinate with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, and lending partners to ensure smooth transactions. Prepare and maintain paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures. Evaluate potential borrower's credit, income, and asset documents to determine credit worthiness. Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Review and understand appraisals, titles, and respond to underwriting conditions. Responsible for managing loans for selling to the secondary market. Maintain accurate customer credit records and take necessary action based on account monitoring. Requirements Proficiency in using Automated Underwriting Systems Experience with Calyx and Calyx Point software Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Strong skills in data processing Knowledge of 'About Time' software Ability to handle appraisals effectively Understanding of closing processes in financial services Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong commitment to compliance with financial regulations Experience with Encompass software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing or a related role within financial services.
