Labor Technician

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Telecommunications Underground Construction Technician to join our client's team in Omaha, NE. This position will directly assist in connecting America through fiber internet to homes and businesses. The Construction Technician will complete general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the managing Foreman/Supervisor. Daily job duties may include all phases of underground construction. This position is a 6-month contract to hire. We are seeking applicants looking to grow a career within the telecom construction and engineering industry.Responsibilities Include:Dig using hand shovel and mechanical toolsInstall and maintenance of underground telecommunications cablingMaintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movementPerform general construction work under direction of Foreman/SupervisorMaintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policiesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
