Job Title: Industrial Engineer IJob DescriptionThe Industrial Engineer I is a problem-solver, facilitator, change agent, innovator, resource, designer, and project manager. Responsible for performing these functions on issues as they are assigned (or arise) in the designated area. This person is responsible for driving manufacturing initiatives, including Process Flows, Value Stream Mapping, 5S methodologies, and evaluation of large data sets. Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1 Year(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.Work EnvironmentOur client is a very large manufacturing facility - almost 500k square feet. They manufacture a lot of sheet metal to produce shelving units - the ones that you would see in Walmart or Target. It's a bit of an older building, with quite a bit of older equipment. It's a bit noisy due to the amount of fabrication and manufacturing lines producing the units. Office spaces are located at the top of the manufacturing floor to have easy access to get to the lines or get back to the office for meetings or any desk work.
