Conductix-Wampfler, a growing industrial products manufacturer is looking for festoon assemblers to join their team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality-minded. We want to add team members who take pride in their work and can solve problems in a team-based environment. Qualified individuals will possess the following skills:

Have 2-5 years of experience with electrical or mechanical assembly experience

Have experience operating cut-off saws, drill presses

Soldering experience a plus

Ability to read blueprints a plus

Must be able to use measurement devices

OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.Mechanical assembly of various size structural and electrical components.Electrical installations according to wiring specifications.Operate necessary tools, as listed on the job description, to aid in the assembly of festoon systems.Connects color-coded wires.Tests and adjusts electrical assemblies.Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.Manufacturing consultant to engineering and sales department concerning design problems.Field service and start up duty opportunities.Responsible for checking the accuracy of engineering, sales and manufacturing offices' input to ensure customer final product is correct and within quality acceptance guidelines.Any changes or corrections must be communicated to appropriate departments so future product output is consistent with customer expectations.Through actions and decision-making, proactively supports, promotes, and improves the quality system and policy throughout the organization.Understands, supports, implements and sustains 5S program initiatives and goals.
