Our full-service network provides a variety of Primary Care & Priority Care Services, including Family, Internal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Medicine, in addition to several specialties to deliver custom care based on the unique needs of our patients.ResponsibilitiesAs a Behavioral Support Specialist, you focus on providing direct behavioral support and supportive services to patients with disruptions in function as a result of mental illness and/or substance abuse.Services are provided with a focus on managing the therapeutic milieu and developing skills for environmental, financial, social, occupational, spiritual, intellectual, and emotional wellbeing. You will workwith a team of clinical professionals to implement a care plan that is tailored to each patient's needs. The BSS promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of CommonSpirit

Encourages an environment where patients can solve problems and try out new behaviors while supporting the development of uniqueness and acceptable self-expression in a trauma-informed care setting.

Provides appropriate emergency care and maintains a safe environment. Maintains a secure environment and acts as a resource for emergency situations.

Provides trauma informed care and supervision to patients needing physical restraints or seclusion room.

Bachelors Degree or Mental Health Tech certification

BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire
