Green Plains, Inc. seeks multiple Managers, Financial Planning & Analysis in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for the managing the corporate Financial Planning and Analysis organization within Green Plains, Inc. Duties include: designing, preparing, modernizing, and analyzing standard and ad-hoc financial reports that support conclusions and recommendations to executives in relation to operational performance, KPIs, cash activities, debt, risk management; preparing presentation materials such as quarterly business reviews, investors presentations, and annual budgets, used by senior management and the company’s Board of Directors; preparing internal memos and reporting on company transaction details, investment merits, company analysis, and industry analysis; managing various aspects of multi-faceted projects covering financing, strategy, acquisitions, trading, and risk; driving continuous process improvement within the FP&A Department; maintaining compliance with corporate governance policies, procedures, and internal controls within the FP&A department; and other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: Two years of experience in the job offered or related positions. Other special requirements include: Two years of experience with complex financial models, valuation models, forecasts, financial statement analysis, and KPI projections in support of strategic business initiatives; Two years of experience providing support for strategic financing, risk management, cash management, and other financial analysis reports; Two years of experience with basic control risks, calculating evaluated impact, proposing changes, and implementing improvements to remediate gaps in partnership with business leaders and FP&A in support of long-term strategic plans; Two years of experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP S/4 HANA ERP, or Prophix; and Two years of experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data in data sources, escalated discrepancies, and fixing data when possible.
