Our work depends on a Supply Chain Manager joining our team to be responsible for engineering and delivering enterprise IT and infrastructure solutions across the DoD.  You, as a recognized industry expert, will have the opportunity to not only contribute supply chain and leadership expertise on this program, but to lead teams and logistics disciplines across the business as your career grows.  You will apply industry best practices and make recommendations on automation tools and capabilities to create efficiencies and reduce overall costs. Superior communication, leadership skills, and knowledge of logistics and supply chain functions and responsibilities are required along with the ability to interface with other teams in program execution.  Leading the engineering team, you will specifically, HOW A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Plan, direct, and manage day-to-day activities of the supply chain team. This includes asset management; warehouse and logistics management; hardware and software renewals; and procurement management.

Lead the full life cycle (i.e., “cradle to grave”) of hardware and software supporting major programs that span the entire procurement cycle, including but not limited to procuring equipment, fulfilling orders, tagging equipment, and coordinating shipments.

Analyze supply chain risks and identify risk mitigations.

Create status reports and briefings. 

Act as the primary interface between procurement offices, subcontractors (e.g., Value Added Resellers and Vendors), and the customer for all supply chain related issues.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Minimum Secret security clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Candidates must maintain the clearance. 

Five (5) years of applicable work experience within commercial or government supply chains

BA/BS in in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or any technical area of study

Ability to lead a cross-functional operation supporting mission critical customers.

Experience leading large, complex global logistics and supply chain operations, spanning multiple nodes of the organization’s supply chain simultaneously – procurement, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, transportation, reverse logistics.

Understanding of government contract types and performance requirements · Understanding of FAR and other government regulations

Experience utilizing dashboards and reporting tools to deliver meaningful operations and performance data to internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Offutt AFB, NE (onsite)

US Citizenship Required

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to various supply chain tools (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.); experience gathering requirements, system configuration and testing, and implementation of new and enhanced supply chain tools.

Experience presenting to senior leaders and customers.

Understanding of contract management financials

#SCITLSThe likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $177,632. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
