Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Niobrara, Nebraska, as a Staff Accountant. This role is vital to our operations, with a focus on managing financial risks, overseeing record-keeping and financial reporting, as well as auditing and analyzing our financial status. Responsibilities: Oversee the work of the accounting staff to ensure accurate financial management Manage our company's financial risks to maintain stability and profitability Conduct audits and analyze our company's financial status to identify areas for improvement Prepare budget reports to provide detailed financial data to stakeholders Manage our cash flow to ensure the company's financial health Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial management tasks Conduct tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger maintenance, Journal Entries, and Month End Close Develop strategic financial plans based on analyzed data to guide business decisions Keep abreast of financial regulations and legislation to ensure company compliance. Requirements Applicant must have a strong understanding and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary Must be able to handle Bank Reconciliations Knowledge and experience in General Ledger management is required Proficiency in preparing and maintaining Journal Entries is a must Should have experience with Month End Close procedures Familiarity with NetSuite software is required Proficiency in Oracle software is necessary Experience with QuickBooks software is a must Knowledge of SAP software is required.
