Position Title: Packaging Associate
Wage: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd & 3rd
QPS Employment Group has a great Packaging Associate position available at a company in Hamburg, IA This is a 2nd or 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Packaging Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble boxes for packaging.
- Package finished products into boxes and palletize them.
- Repackage products that did not meet requirements.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Sanitize work area throughout the day.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain product quality.
Packaging Associate Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 55 lbs. repetitively throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to bend, move, stand, and walk repetitively for up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to bend, twist, and reach repetitively throughout a 12-hour shift.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Three to six months of packaging experience required.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude.
- Must be punctual and maintain good attendance.
