You are an open minded Landscape and Hardscape Leader who likes to work independently and needs a flexible schedule. This is a physical and mental job for someone who is smart, strong, needs schedule flexibility, and is interested in unconventional landscaping techniques. My company focuses on earth-friendly solutions, meaning we try to put water back into the aquifer, we don’t use chemicals, and we focus on increasing biodiversity.
Lincoln, Nebraska. Start date: March 27 or May 5 or when you are ready
Requirements: REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS
Must have reliable transportation - valid Drivers license, insurable driving record.
Some prior landscaping and hardscaping experience.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods of time
No weed or CBD. 100% sober workplace.

Duties Include:
Prep, install, and finish a variety of landscaping projects
Interact with clients in a respectful and professional manner
Safely operate power tools and equipment
Load and drive trucks and sometimes trailers around town
Occasionally managing additional helpers on job sites
Going to the store and buying materials
Working with your supervisor to solve problems and create a successful outcome
Being safe and keeping a positive attitude

Rain Gardens
Bioswales
Invasive Species Removal
Native Species Support
Yard Clean Ups
Planting Shrubs and Trees
Planting flowers
Gutter Cleaning
Typical hours: Flexible Part Time.
This is a part time job aiming for about 20 to 25 hours per week. Your hours can be flexible depending on your needs and my needs. Generally, a three day week Tue, Wed, Thurs, approx 8 hrs of work per day. Long lunch breaks and time for personal errands during the day if you need. Start time is generally 8am, but can vary. End time generally varies as well, depending on weather, efficiency, and our personal schedules. This is a unique job. It’s just you and me running this company, plus other helpers I occasionally hire for big jobs.
The job will last through the season. It will continue through the winter and onto 2026 if you have research and writing skills, or construction skills. An ambitious person with the right skills and attitude could become a partner in the company.
Pay and Benefits:
$27.50 per hour, 20 - 25 hours per week
Full time use of company vehicle
(Yes, you can take it home and use it for personal errands)
Lunch provided on full work days.
Unfortunately I cannot offer any kind of insurance at this time, other than the required Nebraska Workers Compensation Insurance.
