Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare worksite by setting forms and ensuring proper alignment
- Pour, level, and smooth concrete using various tools and techniques
- Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, brooming, and stamping to create desired textures and patterns
- Repair and patch existing concrete surfaces as needed
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and power trowels
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate placement and finishing of concrete
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in concrete finishing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of trim carpentry, tile laying, stucco installation, drywall, and masonry is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and operating heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
