Drive the development of the systems behind Meta’s products, create web applications that reach billions of people, build high volume servers and be a part of a team that’s working to help people connect with each other around the globe.
Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.
Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming and software engineering.
Produce high quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions, and frameworks.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely-related field. Position requires completion of one university-level course, one research project, or one internship involving the following skills:
Designing core, backend software components
Interfacing with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
Conducting design and code reviews
Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
Establishing self as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding
Successfully completing projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity.
