We are currently looking for a Production Worker who is artistic and intersted in learning how to manufacture clay products including, pipes, pottery, and shingles to name a few to join a growing team in Lincoln, Ca. And place you in an incredible team environment and an upbeat culture in return for your hard work.salary: $17.99 - $18 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 5 AM - 1:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesUsed hand tools and mallet to break a part clay piecesBuild carts/palletsPrep the carts that go into the kilnsSeals clay pipesPlace clay parts on carts and get them ready to go into the kilnTake clay parts off carts once they have gone through the kiln and place them in correct areas of the warehouseSmoothens out the finish and ensures that it dries properlyLifts, carries and places pieces on rack so that pieces can be sent to dryersAttends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmentalregulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.Regular attendance is required.The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
