NPosition Type ManagementJOB SUMMARYThis is a temporary position.The Business Analyst will function as a Disaster Recovery functional expert; engaging and providing subject matter expertise to Applications & Infrastructure Delivery Disaster Recovery Program. (S)he will conduct business analyses and assist in the development of processes supporting the Risk Management Controls, Reporting and Tracking of the Program.CANDIDATE PROFILEEducation and Experience Required: 3 years’ work experience with emphasis on business and data analytics. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications. Knowledge of systems integration and technical writing supporting Applications and Infrastructure components. Experience in creating system integration requirements and technical documentation.Preferred: Good project coordination and communication skills. Strong technical skills/aptitude. Experience in guiding and advising others. 1 – 3 years’ experience with Disaster RecoveryCORE WORK ACTIVITIES Assists in the development and oversight of processes supporting the Disaster Recovery Program. Works with various Global Technology Application Owners to review technology documentation for thoroughness. Acts as the primary subject matter expert on application technical documentation specifically Runbooks and DR Plans. Thinks systems and workflow automation first. Ensures documentation is constructed in a manner that Automation tools and Artificial Intelligence can easily use. Assists in training Global Technology Application Owners on Disaster Recovery controls and content. Develops project metrics and reporting to assist Disaster Recovery in Risk Reporting and Test Performance results. Responds to requests from stakeholders for data and analysis related to applications Disaster Recovery position. Completes special projects, as assigned, including ad hoc requests for information and analysis relative Disaster Recovery. Implements best practices around descriptive analytics. Applies descriptive analytics to analyze data, validates assumptions, understands results and effectively communicates results. Manipulates raw data and understands the ultimate design required to meet business requests.
