At CHI Health-Good Samaritan you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare, emergency helicopter transport, and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.As our Rehabilitation Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, your ultimate goal is restoring your patients’ health, so they have the ability to care for themselves at home. This is a high-acuity rehabilitation department, so our patients start out very ill or injured. Carefully monitor patients for changes in neurological status or other conditions
Prepare patients for various speech, physical, occupational or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day.
Educate the patient and caregivers on how to continue certain care at home.
Identify opportunities for improvement in care plans and on the rehab unit
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that allows you to practice in our state
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
