Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community.Will hire a Respiratory Therapist(RT) into this positionResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will provide nursing care to inpatient and outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation participants. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s plan of care in coordination with the physician.
Collaborate with cardiologists, EKG techs, echo techs, and others to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Supervise inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation exercise training and educational sessions.
Interpret cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation and assess for signs/symptoms of exercise intolerance, cardiac ischemia, or hypoxia. .
When needed, triage patients for emergent or non-emergent care. Problem-solve with staff, physicians, patients, families, and other health care team members/departments as needed.
You’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery and prevention of recurrent issues.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Nursing or Respiratory Thearpist from an accredited program college
Active Registered license-RN or RT
Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
