In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the systems that power our community. You will provide 24/7 support for the design, development, maintenance, and cybersecurity of electric system cyber assets, ensuring the seamless operation of our substation transmission and distribution facilities. Your work will directly contribute to the continuity and reliability of electric services for our valued customer-owners. Systems Administration: Oversee and manage Energy Delivery integrated systems, ensuring compliance with OPPD policies and regulatory standards such as NERC and FERC.

Technical Collaboration: Work closely with technicians to plan, install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced substation IED equipment and operational computing tools.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OPPD, NERC CIP, and PRC procedures, contributing to the security and reliability of our infrastructure.

Software Management: Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software for system configuration, monitoring, and data visualization.

Cybersecurity: Design and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect critical infrastructure.

Project Support: Lead and support large-scale projects involving Energy Delivery integrated systems and networks.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation on supported systems and equipment.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of evolving technologies and continuously seek opportunities to improve system performance and security.

Qualifications

Required:

Possess an ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience in the following:

Configuring and maintaining control system hardware/software, including event retrieval, and associated support systems

Configuring/Administrating control system user access accounts, time synchronization, and health monitoring

Configuring/Implementing control system cyber security controls, tools, monitoring, and associated substation systems

Minimum 3 years¿ experience as a Substation System Administrator or equivalent in a substation or operations environment.

Minimum 3 years of experience implementing NERC CIP Cyber Security Standards within a substation environment.

Demonstrated ability to provide support on a 24x7 basis.

Demonstrated ability to support District equipment at multiple locations.

Valid driver¿s license
