Sr. Cost Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Cost Accountant for our manufacturing team based in Blair, Nebraska. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity where you'll be instrumental in managing accounting functions, auditing, and cost analysis. Responsibilities: Handling all cost accounting activities within the manufacturing sector Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, and Costpoint effectively Performing cost analysis to aid in budget processes and financial planning Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Ensuring adherence to DCAA regulations in all accounting activities Managing workload efficiently to meet project deadlines and organizational goals Leveraging your SAP experience to streamline accounting processes. Requirements Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry. Prior experience as a Sr. Cost Accountant or similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services. Competence in using BlackLine software. Experience with Costpoint. Understanding of DCAA requirements. Capability to perform all Accounting Functions. Experience in Auditing. Familiarity with Budget Processes. Extensive knowledge in Cost Accounting. Ability to conduct Cost Analysis.
